Assiniboine College is awarding 65 tuition credits worth $1,000 each to learners of all ages to celebrate its 65th anniversary.

“Supporting future students seemed like a fitting way to recognize this milestone anniversary,” Assiniboine president Mark Frison said.

“For kids whose first day of school is yet to come, for those navigating junior high, for high school students exploring their options, or for adults seeking a new or refreshed career direction, this is our way of letting you know that we’re here for you when the time comes.”

The credits are available at the Assiniboine All-Access open house event on Feb. 25, the college’s booth at the Brandon Career Symposium, the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair in the Farmyard, Assiniboine’s Easter egg hunts in Brandon and Dauphin, and the Parkland Business Expo.

Frison said Assiniboine is “infusing a little something special into many of our events throughout 2026” to mark the college’s milestone.

“These 65 tuition credits are a way to celebrate our past while investing in the future of folks of all ages in our communities,” he said.
