The Town Centre in Brandon reopened on Tuesday after a burst water pipe left most businesses without running water on Monday.
Plumbers were able to fix the burst pipe in a mechanical room on the second floor — that leaked and collapsed the ceiling of an empty office space on the main floor — by late Monday afternoon.
There were still a few small pools of water inside the office space on Tuesday afternoon, but the collapsed ceiling tiles had been cleaned up.

On Monday, a large section of water had pooled in the hallway between The Town Centre’s administrative office and Roman’s General Store.
Staff working at the restaurants in the food court, general store, beauty salon and Prairie Mountain Health were told to go home early Monday morning.
A couple businesses decided to continue working to organize and crossed their fingers they would be able to open the next day.
The Brandon Public Library, the Royal Bank of Canada and The Brandon Sun remained open and were not affected by the water issue.
Security guards in the building told people who tried to enter that the mall was closed throughout the day.
