Police arrested the 20-year-old man and held him in detention cells.
He was scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
BPS declined to provide further information as the investigation is ongoing.
Paid for sex
Brandon police arrested a man on Thursday after he allegedly paid for sexual services on several occasions.
The man is alleged to have paid for the services on three separate occasions between Nov. 30, 2025 and Feb. 13 of this year, the Brandon Police Service said in a news release.
The 50-year-old man was released on an undertaking and scheduled to appear in court in May.
Drug possession
A man was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking after police found baggies of methamphetamine in his pocket while arresting him for an unrelated matter, police say.
The Brandon Police Service was called to a business on the 3500 block of Victoria Avenue after receiving a report of an individual trespassing, BPS said in a news release.
When officers arrived, they found a man and arrested him for trespassing.
When officers searched him, they found 12 baggies of methamphetamine and cash, police said.
The man was held in BPS cells and was set to be released on an undertaking once sober.
He is scheduled to appear in court in April.
