The stage is set for a winner-take-all Game 3 between the Dauphin Clippers and Vincent Massey Vikings.

Cody Zurba, Hayden Shtykalo, and Josh Beyette all found twine for the Clippers in a four minute span late in the second period to lift their club to a 3-1 victory against the Vikings in Game 2 and tie their Westman High School Hockey League championship series at ones in Dauphin Thursday evening.

Joe Balabanski’s power-play goal with two minutes 42 seconds remaining in the contest was the lone goal for Massey, who took Game 1 in a dominating 5-0 effort on Wednesday at the Sportsplex.

Goaltender Joe Tabin stopped 29 shots in the Clippers win, while Hunter Gregory collected 24 saves for the Vikings, who were handed its first loss of the post-season.

The two clubs will now prepare for the biggest game of the season at the Sportsplex on Monday, where a win will secure them the WHSHL title. Puck drop is at 8 p.m.
