HARASSMENT COMPLAINT
Brandon police arrested a man Tuesday at a business on the 700 block of 10th Street after receiving a report of a male harassing staff and customers.
Police said the 33-year-old man was found to be on probation with a condition banning him from the business.
He was arrested for breaching his probation and held in Brandon Police Service detention cells to prevent further issues, police said. He was to be released the next morning and is scheduled to appear in court on June 4.
WATER GUN CALL
The Brandon Police Service arrested a man Monday after receiving a report at 4:49 p.m. that a person was flashing a handgun in the area of Fourth Street and Brandon Avenue.
A suspect matching the man’s description was located nearby.
Officers found the man was in possession of a water gun.
He was arrested for breach of the peace and taken to BPS detention cells to prevent further issues, police said.
Police conducted a search and found no additional weapons that could have been discarded while the suspect walked through the area.
MISCHIEF CHARGE
Brandon police located a 19-year-old woman on Sunday and charged her with mischief under $5,000 following a vehicle bumper being damaged in the Corral Centre parking lot.
The woman was released on an undertaking with a June 1 court date.
