Evan Nachtigall reached the final of the Golf Manitoba men’s match play on Sunday, but settled for second place.
The Brandonite lost 7 and 6 to David Spurr in the final, after defeating Jordy Lutz 3 and 2 in the semifinals that morning at Whispering Winds of Warren.
Nachtigall reached the semifinals with 5-and-4 triumph over Kaleb Lambert on Saturday.
Jeri Lafleche won the women’s title, beating Charmaine Hayden 2 and 1.
In the senior men’s division, David Kuik beat David White 5 and 3.
Bruce North knocked off Carl Lechman 5 and 4 in the super senior men’s final.
