Lyn Shannon, a fixture in the Brandon Wheat Kings office for many years, died last week.

Shannon, who served as executive assistant to former owner Kelly McCrimmon and the club, spent 31 years with the team handling everything from accounting to billet coordination to the Wheat Kings education fund and many other tasks.

She retired in May 2021.

She is survived by her husband Barry, daughter Tricia, son Tom, their spouses and five grandchildren.
