Brandonites Brayden Hamm of the Wheat City Golf Course and Spence Mott of EVO Golf both finished in the top 10 at the 18-hole Nott Autocorp Men’s Amateur Championship qualifier at Steinbach Fly-In Golf Club on Friday.

Hamm carded a 1-over 72 to tie for fifth place, while Mott shot a 73 to tie for seventh.

Cash McCallum of Gilbert Plains Country Club shot a 6-over 77 to tie for 25th, Brad Pardy of Brandon shot 78 to tie for 29th, William Kinsman of the Shilo Country Club tied for 39th with a score of 79 and Kolby Lavich of Brandon’s EVO Golf missed the cut at 81.

Patrick Perrin of Elmhurst Golf & Country Club recorded nine birdies for a 5-under par 66 to win the event, three strokes better than Jack Moro of Whitewater Golf Club and Elmhurst’s Jordy Lutz and Adam Ingram.
