BRANDON UNIVERSITY

Brandon University will be closed on Wednesday for Canada Day. The Healthy Living Centre will also be closed. The university and the HLC will reopen for regular business hours on Thursday.

Children from kindergarten through Grade 8 can explore their interests in science, arts and physical education through Mini University this summer. Week-long programs are available in 30 areas for senior campers, 15 areas for junior campers and in 10 specialty camps. Sessions take place from July 6 to Aug. 28. The Brandon Conservatory Chorale Summer Choir Camp will take place July 20-24 at St. Matthew’s Anglican Cathedral. The camp, for students from Grades 4 to 9, will feature daily instruction from 12:30 to 4 p.m., concluding with a performance on July 24. The registration fee is $240, with discounts for additional family members. Visit BrandonU.ca/e-gre to register.

Bobcats summer sports camps return in July. Various day and evening camps in basketball and volleyball will take place between July 27 and Sept. 4. Details and registration are available at GoBobcats.ca.
