Robbery with violence
Two people face a charge of robbery with violence after Brandon police say they threatened a woman with a weapon and stole money from her.
Officers received a report from the victim on Monday at 10 p.m., police said in a news release on Tuesday. The woman said she was threatened with a knife and had $40 taken from her.

The suspects went to a business on Rosser Avenue and purchased beverages before they were arrested by police.
A 38-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man have been charged, police said.
The suspects were held in custody and were scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
Cannabis store theft
A 46-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stealing from a cannabis store last week, police say.
Brandon police officers were called to a business on the 900 block of Victoria Avenue on Monday around 8 a.m. about a man who was threatening customers by telling people he would beat them up, police said Tuesday.
Police found the man and allege he is also connected to a report of theft from a cannabis store from the previous day.
The man was arrested and held in custody. He was charged with theft under $5,000 and was released on an undertaking once sober.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 2.
Man arrested after crash
A man facing charges for stealing from the same business twice was caught by police after he got into a vehicle collision during his second attempt to flee with merchandise.
Brandon police received a report that a man had tried to steal about $2,000 worth of merchandise from a business on the 1600 block of 18th Street on Aug. 17, police said on Tuesday.
Employees were able to recover the stolen items, but the suspect fled the scene and was not found by police.
On Monday, police received a report of a theft that had just occurred at the same store with the same suspect and vehicle.
Within minutes, police got another call about a two-vehicle collision at First Street and Aberdeen Avenue involving the suspect vehicle.
A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of theft under $5,000.
Police said he failed to produce a driver’s licence and confirmed that his driver’s licence was suspended indefinitely. He was not injured during the crash, and both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.
The man was taken in custody and later released on an undertaking. He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 2.
