Three people have been charged with drug trafficking and other substance-related offences during a major RCMP bust in Swan River.
Mounties received information and complaints about a residence on Sixth Avenue North in Swan River that was suspected of being involved with drug trafficking, RCMP said in a news release on Tuesday.
Officers executed a warrant and searched the home with police dogs on Thursday shortly after 3:30 p.m.
One resident, a 43-year-old man from Brandon, was arrested after he was seen leaving the home as officers were preparing to search the residence, RCMP said.
Officers seized 26 grams of powder cocaine, more than three grams of crack cocaine, 268 prescription pills, various drug paraphernalia, such as scales and packaging materials, an expandable baton and $6,820 in cash.
Two women from Swan River were also arrested inside the home, RCMP said.
Collin Kosolowsky has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon.
Wendy Ledoux, 42, and Ceone Jorgenson, 70, have been charged with two counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon.
All three were released on undertakings.
