The Brandon University Bobcats men’s volleyball team improved to 2-0 at their annual pre-season tournament at the Healthy Living Centre with a three-set victory over the Winnipeg Wesmen on Friday afternoon.

Samuel Chen led with 10 kills as the Bobcats won 3-0 (26-24, 25-22, 25-14), while Ryden Hargreaves and Jobe McAuley both had seven. Hargreaves also contributed three blocks, while Keon Torz, Alfredo Enns and Luke Schroeder each had two aces.

Brandon, which swept the McMaster Marauders on Thursday, faces the Saskatchewan Huskies today at 7 p.m., and the Manitoba Bisons on Sunday at 1 p.m.

In another match Friday, Manitoba beat McMaster 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 26-16). Saskatchewan and Winnipeg were in action later in the evening.
