Canadian voice actor Eric Bauza, who in recent years embodied Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, has died at 46.
His death was announced Sunday in a brief post on his official social media channels.
The post says the Toronto-born actor died suddenly and that more details would be announced at a later date.
A report by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner says Bauza died at his home of hypertensive cardiovascular disease.
Among Bauza’s credits are such TV shows as “The Looney Tunes Show,” “SpongeBob SquarePants” and “Bob’s Burgers.”
He also voiced Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Foghorn Leghorn, Road Runner, and others in the “Coyote vs. Acme” movie — about Wile E. Coyote suing the Acme Corporation for its faulty products.
In an online tribute, fellow voice actor Josh Keaton said Bauza was a gifted and humble performer, and remembered him for having a warm smile and always being sincere.
“He let his talent speak for itself and made everyone feel like he was their biggest fan,” Keaton said on social media.
“He will always be a legend but I’m devastated that I’ll never be able to give him a hug, or hear him joke or see him smile again.”
This report by The Canadian Press was first published Oct. 26, 2026.
