FREDERICTON – Public health authorities in New Brunswick are reporting two new cases of COVID-19 today.

The cases are an individual in their 40s and one in their 60s, both in the Moncton region.

The province says the cases are self-isolating and are under investigation.

Officials also reported four additional recoveries today, bringing the number of active cases in New Brunswick to 34.

Two COVID-19 patients are currently hospitalized in the province, including one in intensive care.

New Brunswick has reported 592 cases of COVID-19 and eight deaths linked to the novel coronavirus since the start of the pandemic.
