Prairie Mountain Health is hosting a walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic for children at the Keystone Centre Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Appointments are not required.
First and second Pfizer doses will be available at the clinic. Children ages five to 11 who received their first COVID vaccine dose on Nov. 26 are now eligible for their second dose.
First dose eligibility is age five and up, while second-dose eligibility is five to 11 years old — eight weeks after the first dose or a minimum of 21 days for children living in First Nations communities.
Consent forms are required for all COVID doses and should be brought to the clinic.
To download the consent form, visit https://www.gov.mb.ca/covid19/vaccine/resources.html. Copies of the consent form are also available at PMH Health Care facilities, PMH community town and rural municipal offices, and clinic sites.
For information on booked clinics and walk-ins, continue to check the Prairie Mountain Health website at: https://www.pmh-mb.ca/vaccine-schedule.
