Hey there, time traveller!

A gang member who threw a cup of feces at a Brandon corrections officer has been sentenced to two years in prison for the foul attack.
Judge John Combs described the inmate’s act as “depraved”.
“Our corrections officials should not be subjected to this type of behaviour,” Combs said during sentencing on Thursday.
William Goosehead, 20, pleaded guilty on Thursday to assaulting a peace officer.
Crown attorney Jim Ross said the revolting incident happened around 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 29 while a corrections officer was doing a cell inspection in Unit A of the Brandon Correctional Centre.
Goosehead, an inmate at BCC at the time, was standing with a cup filled with feces as the officer entered the cell.
He then tossed the cup which struck the officer in the chest and its contents spread across her face, arms and legs.
The corrections officer was upset by the attack but didn’t require treatment for infectious diseases.
At the time, that section of the jail was being used exclusively to house inmates who identified themselves as members of the Native Syndicate street gang.
Ross said the Brandon jail was being used to help separate groups within the provincial jail system. But the inmates, a number of them not from the Brandon area, were not happy to be here.
They complained about restrictions on their calls to lawyers and family. Those grievances led to a riot in October.
It seems the feces attack stemmed from the same problem.
Goosehead would tell jail staff that “we” hate Brandon and asked staff to get “us” out of the Brandon jail. He told authorities he was told to stage the attack and Ross said other inmates celebrated Goosehead’s feces slinging.
“I can’t believe you did it,” one inmate was reported as saying.
Ross said that response suggested the attack was done in concert with other Native Syndicate members and he asked for a stiffer sentence under the provisions of the Criminal Code.
Goosehead had been at BCC for six days before the incident. He has no previous criminal record but remains in custody on remand for serious charges.
Judge Combs accepted a joint recommendation by Crown and defence counsel and sentenced Goosehead to two years in prison.
Ross told court that three other inmates were charged for pelting guards with feces following this incident.
