After years of hearing the "coffee shop" talk of what Brandonites want to see in their city, downtown business owner Corey Roberts says it’s now time for him to turn the talk into action.
Roberts, owner of Clancy’s Eatery and Drinkery, officially announced his candidacy for Rosser ward councillor during a news conference at his Princess Avenue restaurant this afternoon.
In a short speech to local media and supporters, Roberts urged residents to "build the city through conversation and action."

Roberts joins Darlene Paquette in the race to win the seat being vacated by current Rosser councillor Vince Barletta.
