Brandonites who are still mopping up after Tuesday night’s flash-flooding can avail themsevles of a little help, thanks to the Canadian Red Cross.

The Red Cross is offering free "clean-up kits" to anyone affected by the floods. The kits include items like buckets, mops, gloves and rags, and could make the job of sopping up after the rains a little easier.

The kits can be picked up at the Brandon office of the Canadian Red Cross office, at 817 Rosser Ave., today and tomorrow only, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The offices are closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. (The office is closed for lunch).
