A man was arrested Tuesday following an armed robbery at a convenience store on Dakota Tipi First Nation, according to Portage la Prairie RCMP.
Police said they received a report of a robbery Tuesday at the Krazy Horse Convenience Store around 2:30 a.m. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and no injuries were reported.
Later that day, police arrested a suspect.
Maurice Donald Pashe is facing several charges, including robbery and assault with a weapon. He was expected to appear in court in Portage la Prairie on Wednesday.
