Beginning in January, WestJet will double the number of flights from Brandon to Calgary.
Shannon Mannall, a WestJet manager, broke the news on Twitter: “Hey YBR did you hear? Effective Jan 16 we flying twice a day to YYC! A new additional 0600 departure arrives back at 2250!”
Checking WestJet’s website for future flights shows the Canadian carrier will first depart the Brandon Municipal Airport at 6 a.m. and arrive at the Calgary International Airport at 7:28 a.m.
A second flight will leave Brandon at 1:20 p.m. and arrive in Calgary at 2:37 p.m.
Flights from Calgary depart at 9:45 a.m. and 7:50 p.m.
All flight times are local and daily.
A quick search shows flights ranging approximately from $180 to $190 departing Brandon, while a return flight ranges from $205 to $215.
Flights prices are subject to change.
