Two men were arrested Friday in connection with an assault at Houstons Country Roadhouse in April, which left a woman with a broken jaw.
Police said a third suspect is still being sought, but they are confident that he is "expected to be arrested in the next few days." On April 3, a woman was assaulted by three men in the area of the dance floor of the nightclub after a confrontation between two groups of people.
A staff member of the nightclub provided the name of a potential suspect and descriptions of their clothing provided by witnesses helped investigators identify three suspects on surveillance video who were seen leaving the bar shortly after.
Police said the victim and other witnesses were able to confirm the suspects when viewing photographic lineups prepared by the investigators.
The accused, a 22-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, both of Brandon, have been released and are expected to appear in court in August. They have also been placed on undertakings to abide by several conditions including to abstain from the consumption of alcohol and not attend any licensed premises.
