Hey there, time traveller!

Brandon police are investigating a death that they have deemed "suspicious" as they’ve blocked off a road in the city’s far east end where there is clearly a body lying at the edge of the road.
STARS says they were dispatched to a trauma call in Brandon at about 5 a.m. They were airborne in seven minutes but were called off eight minutes into the flight as they weren’t medically required, suggesting that the patient was deceased at that point.
Brandon police confirmed that a 20-year-old man was located dead near a vehicle parked on the side of the road.
The stretch of road — 65th Street East, between Richmond Avenue and Patricia Avenue — runs through an isolated area bordered by fields. The nearest business appears to be a gravel pit to the south. There appear to be no street lights in that spot beside the road.
Around 9 a.m., officers — uniform and plainsclothes, could be seen examining the body which lay beside a silver pickup truck parked on the gravel shoulder. Yellow forensic placards — used to mark evidence — dotted the road surface.
This story will be updated as more information is available.
