Looks like a woman accused of purse snatching didn’t find any cash inside — she’s now charged with running out on a $60 restaurant bill.
Brandon police say that on April 8, a purse was stolen from a business on the 800 block of Pacific Avenue.
A woman was identified as the suspect using video surveillance footage.
She was arrested for the theft the next day, and identified as the woman who ran out on a bill at a restaurant on the 1100 block of 18th Street.
Police, who reported the arrest on Wednesday, say the 31-year-old woman was released to attend court in June.
