Spectators can experience the world of “Comedy in Motion” with Canada’s favourite juggler, Bob Cates, on Thursday as the Souris District Arts Council features the acclaimed performer at the Souris School.
This interactive comedy show includes advanced juggling, wild unicycling and balancing skills, black light and laser effects, illusions, slapstick and an 24 plate spinning finale. Cates is one of a few performers left in North America performing authentic plate spinning, which is his signature piece.
Cates — a Canadian juggling champion, physical comedian and new vaudevillian — won Entertainer of the Year at the 2016 Canadian Event Industry Awards.
