The celebrity guest at this year’s inaugural Brandon Comic Con has been announced, with actor Adrian Paul slated to visit the Wheat City.

Paul is best known for his starring role in the ’90s fantasy television series “Highlander.”

Brandon Comic Con is scheduled to take place at the Keystone Centre from Sept. 8-9, with admission $10 per day.

In addition to its obvious appeal to comic book fans, Comic Cons such as this also focus on a swath of pop culture fan groups.

On a similar front, Brandon is also home to the longstanding Prairie Con, a role-playing game-based convention, and the new Westman Gaming Expo, a video game-based convention that was held in April.
