The city is hosting a free screening of the documentary “Human Flow” Dec. 10 in recognition of Human Rights Day.
The film from internationally renowned artist Ai Weiwei examines the massive amount of human migration that has taken place around the globe since the Second World War.
The film, rated PG-13, will screen from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Cultural Resource Centre at 638 Princess Ave., door B at the east entrance.
Pat Daniels from the Manitoba Human Rights Commission will provide a welcome and introduction.
Human Rights Day was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948 to draw attention to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
