Brandon’s new school, uncer construction, was celebrated during a ceremonial groundbreaking with Premier Brian Pallister on Thursday morning.

The addition of the new school will allow the city to continue to expand and flourish, Mayor Rick Chrest said.

“Without places to put students in school, it would be difficult to keep growing, so this was very timely,” Chrest said.
