A teenage boy was arrested on Wednesday after police caught him with an expandable baton.
Officers were conducting patrols in the 1500 block of McTavish Avenue when they came across the teen with the baton.
The baton was seized and the teen was arrested for possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He was later released to a parent and scheduled to appear in court later this month.
