A group of Onanole musicians known as the Route 10 Collective are taking over Brandon’s Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium Oct. 16 to give their take on the music of Steely Dan.
According to a Oct. 1 press release from the group, Route 10 will be filtering the American rock band’s classic hits like “Reeling in the Years,” “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number” and “Black Friday” through their unique horn section, sparkling vocals and stinging guitars.
The Manitoba band already showcased this set list back in late August with a three-day Steely Dan-themed concert series at the Onanole Recreation Centre.
Route 10 has been putting these tribute shows together for the last decade, having already covered the music of Joni Mitchell, the Grateful Dead and the Beatles.
This year’s version of The Route 10 Collective is comprised of members Natalie Bohrn, Iain Edye, Murray Evans, Ingrid Gatin, Tyler Lischynski, Moon Carter-McDermott, Cam McKillop, Colton McKillop, Logan McKillop, Dave Oakey, Gerry Perkin, Alana Levandoski, Eric Roberts, Dustin Smith, Don Sullivan and Pat Sullivan.
To purchase tickets for this upcoming Brandon show, please call the WMCA box office at 204-728-9510.
