A teenage girl was arrested on Tuesday after she was allegedly caught spray-painting a fence.
A resident on Buttercup Bay called police after catching two teens spray-painting graffiti on her fence.
Officers attended and arrested a 12-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl. It was learned the 14-year-old was the one spray-painting the fence while the 12-year-old watched.
The 14-year-old girl was also found to be in possession of a small quantity of cannabis.
She was charged with mischief to property and possession of cannabis as a young person and scheduled to appear in court in August.
The 12-year-old was not charged.
Both youths were released to a parent.
