Limitless Events is currently accepting reservations for the Keystone Centre’s new outdoor venue, a clear-top reception tent known as “Clara” that will be located in the nearby Patmore forrest area.
According to a Thursday morning press release, “Clara” is a joint venture between the Keystone Centre and Limitless Events, with both organizations wanting to bring more attention to the facility’s outdoor grounds.
“The Keystone Centre is privileged to have some of the nicest green space within the City, and we have been looking at ways to make it a more attractive site for events,” said Connie Lawrence, Keystone Centre assistant general manager. “Clara will be an elegant centerpiece for that space, and the versatility means that the Keystone Centre can be home to events that may not have previously thought about hosting on our grounds.”
Thursday’s news release went on to reveal that this new outdoor venue is capable of hosting groups of up to 350 people, which would make it the perfect spot for weddings, outdoor markets and various cultural events.
Not only will the tent be located on a newly installed concrete pad, but Keystone Centre staff will also manage all the food and beverage arrangements for each event.
Of course, due to public gathering restrictions and the winter weather, Limitless Events is currently taking reservations for the spring of 2021, although this timeline could be subject to change.
In terms of why Keystone and Limitless decided to name this venue “Clara,” Thursday’s news release clarified that this word means “bright” in Latin.
