After months closed, the city has reopened the Brandon Community Sportsplex in a limited capacity.

Effective today, the arena and racquetball courts are available for public use at 25 per cent capacity and one-on-one training.

The facility is locked, with access granted to people who have pre-booked time.

Mask use, hand washing and physical distancing are being enforced along with the expectation guests follow all Manitoba public health orders.

A full list of rules can be found online at bit.ly/3psswtK.

The pool remains closed for public use after being closed on March 13, 2020.

Last October, the city announced a third-party review had found problems with the pool’s water, air circulation and drainage systems and that repairs would be required before Manitoba Health issued another operating permit.

Those repairs were estimated to be completed in time for spring 2021.
