Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 03/07/2021 (1530 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.
There are at least 11 restaurants in Brandon that are offering patio service to patrons now that public health orders allow people from different households to mingle at a food establishment.
If you’re in doubt as to whether a patio service is available at a restaurant, call ahead just to be sure and double check online. Since the pandemic, some restaurants have adjusted hours of operation.
Each restaurant on the list was contacted and confirmed that patio service is available. Some places require a reservation, while most are telling people, it’s first come, first served. Capacity is reduced by at least 25 per cent for the smaller restaurants and 50 per cent for the majority.

Here’s the list. Bon appetit.
Restaurants offering patio service include:
The Dock at 1133 Princess Ave., Brandon
Sabor Latino at 457 9th St., #6A, Brandon
Original Joes at 1570 18th St., Brandon
Boston Pizza at 2-1140 Richmond Ave., Brandon
Chili Chutney at 555 34th St., Brandon
Montana’s at 823 18th St., Brandon
The Komfort Kitchen at 835 Princess Ave., Brandon
Alberts Bistro Restaurant at 2000 Highland Ave., Brandon
Coffee Culture at 510 1st St., Brandon, First Victoria Mall, Brandon
East Side Marios at 1570 18th St., D, Brandon
Lady of the Lake at 135-B 17th St., N, Brandon
At Lady of the Lake, an add-on patio behind the restaurant can accommodate 50 guests and 12 out front. Prior to the pandemic, live entertainment on Fridays was offered. This past Friday was the first one to see the live entertainment resume. Manager, Miranda Stobbe recommends reservations as the patio out back books up fast.
The City of Brandon confirmed there have been six temporary patio permits issued.
