Effective Monday, February 7, 2022, Monday editions of the Brandon Sun will be available as e-editions only, without an accompanying print version.
We, like all newspapers, have been buffeted by falling advertising revenues during the COVID-19 pandemic combined with rising print and distribution costs. We are left with the difficult decision to reduce our weekly print days from six to five.
Our commitment to providing quality community journalism to Westman remains at the core of our newspaper’s mission, whether online or in our continuing print editions Tuesdays to Saturdays. We will continue to provide the same number and volume of stories and photographs in the replica e-edition and on our web site on Mondays and through the week.
So, if you have not already done so, please register as soon as possible for your digital access (included in the price of your print subscription). As the amount of content will not change there will not be any adjustments to subscription rates, which support our journalism and our remaining print production and delivery.
