Clara Peake of Binscarth and Clear Lake member Jeri Lafleche ended up in a tie for 58th and 60th respectively at the Canadian junior girls golf championship at The Marshes Golf Club in Ottawa.
Peake shot a round of 80 Friday to end up at 24 over for the week, while Lafleche ended up one shot back after wrapping up the tournament with a 79.
Winnipeg’s Addison Kartusch fired a 77 to end up as the top Manitoba player in 30th place.
Yeji Kwon of Port Coquitlam, B.C. went under par for the third straight round as she won the tournament by nine strokes over Lucy Lin of Vancouver.
