On the council agenda
At the next Brandon City Council meeting, to be held at 7 p.m. Monday, attendees will hear reports from the police board and poverty committee, following by time allotted for inquiries.
Later in the meeting, Bob Wallis is expected to be appointed to the board of revision for an interim term, beginning immediately and ending Dec. 31.
An amendment is expected to be made to Brandon’s downtown development corporation organizational bylaw.
Finally, the rezoning for a property at 453 and 459 Russell St. from the residential low-density zone to the commercial general zone is up for third reading.
