Brandon elected a new mayor, four new councillors and re-elected six people to city council on election day.

In the Brandon School Division election, six incumbents were re-elected with two new faces joining the Board of Trustees.

Here are the unofficial results as reported by the City of Brandon for mayoral and city council candidates:

Jeff Fawcett (elected) — 4,759 votes

Elliott Oleson — 1,777 votes

 

Ward 1:

Heather Karrouze (elected) — 371 votes

Kevin Chambers — 229 votes

Richard Bruce — 162 votes

Jo-Ann Pasklivich — 155 votes

Jeff Plas — 86 votes

 

Ward 2:

Kris Desjarlais (incumbent, elected) — 261 votes

Phillip Emmerson — 130 votes

Dale Bates — 22 votes

 

Ward 3:

Barry Cullen (incumbent, elected) — 552 votes

Quentin Derhak — 389 votes

 

Ward 4:
