There were no injuries according to RCMP after the semi-trailer pictured here hit the Kemnay bridge on Wednesday around 11 p.m. There was also no reported trouble with whatever cargo the trailer may have contained.
The driver, however, was given a $202 fine for failing to obey a traffic control device, namely a flashing light warning of the low bridge that directed the driver to take a detour.
The bridge has regularly and repeatedly struck by semis over the years, despite numerous warning signs along the approaching road in both directions.
