People gathered in downtown Brandon on Thursday afternoon for the Moose Hide Campaign Walk to End Violence. The event, which called for an end to violence against women and children, was organized by the Brandon Urban Aboriginal People’s Council and Assiniboine Community College. The Moose Hide Campaign began in British Columbia as an Indigenous-led initiative to engage men and boys in ending violence toward women and children.
