Brandon’s northernmost municipal ward will be the next to hold a meeting.
Coun. Heather Karrouze is inviting Ward 1 residents to the Riverbank Discovery Centre’s main foyer on May 25.
Starting at 7 p.m., possible topics of discussion at the meeting include the intersection of 18th Street North and Braecrest Drive, the future of the Sportsplex, construction of the outdoor sports complex at the corner of First Street North and Veterans Way, the outdoor ice surface for the ward approved at this year’s budget deliberations, the installation of community gardens and the Riverbank Discovery Centre.
