Prince appeared in Brandon court Friday morning by video from Brandon Correctional Centre. He was placed on a court order to not communicate with six people who prosecutors said were material witnesses in the case against him.

His matter will next appear in Brandon court on June 15.

Richardson, a 30-year-old woman, was transported to Winnipeg hospital with significant but non-life-threatening injuries. The male attacker fled the scene prior to police arrival. Richardson was in an early stage of pregnancy when she was attacked.
