Man accused of sexual assault
A 54-year-old man was arrested for sexual assault on Tuesday afternoon.
Police went to a home on the 300 block of 13th Street after a woman told officers that she was sexually assaulted by her acquaintance.
Officers arrested a 54-year-old man later that day.
He will appear in court on Sept. 14.
Woman found with hunting knife
A 31-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday morning for allegedly possessing a hunting knife and trying to use a counterfeit American bill to buy liquor.
According to police, at around 11:10 a.m., officers located a 31-year-old woman in the 300 block of Eighth Street. A search of police records revealed the woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with probation orders.
During a search after her arrest, police allegedly found a large hunting knife.
While the woman was in custody, police learned that the woman was a suspect in a incident from May 30, where she allegedly tried to use a counterfeit US$100 bill to purchase alcohol on two occasions.

RCMP searching for missing teen
RCMP are searching for a 17-year-old from Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation who has been missing for more than a week.
The teen, who’s named Abigail Sinclair but goes by the first name Blake, was reported missing to the Swan River RCMP detachment on July 10.
The teen is five-foot-six and 160 pounds with black, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. Police say RCMP and family are concerned for the teen’s well-being.
Mounties ask for anyone with information on Sinclair’s whereabouts to call the Swan River detachment at 204-734-4686 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
