The local Ukrainian community came together on Thursday to mark Ukrainian Independence Day celebrations at Brandon City Hall, one and a half year’s into Russia’s invasion of the country. Brandon Mayor Jeff Fawcett spoke before raising the flag with members of Brandon’s Ukrainian community.
