Due to health concerns with the one of its members, the hard rock group Skid Row has postponed its upcoming tour, including a stop in Brandon.

Skid Row and Buckcherry were scheduled to play Westoba Place on Oct. 21 as part of the sold-out The Gang’s All Here tour.

Skid Row lead vocalist Erik Grönwall was diagnosed with blood cancer in 2021, and received a stem cell transplant in August of that same year, but recovery has been slow.

The Gang’s All Here show, to feature Skid Row and Buckcherry at Westoba Place, has been pushed back to the spring due to health concerns for Skid Row lead singer Erik Grönwall. (Submitted)

Grönwall issued an apology along with the postponement, which has prompted the band to reschedule stops in 16 cities, including Brandon.

“I want to apologize to all the fans, promoters, Buckcherry and the Skid Row team and to my bandmates. My immune system is still partially impaired, which can result in longer time before clearance of infections and impaired fitness during infections. It will get better with time, but all I can do until then is roll with the punches and ensure I have a better balance in terms of touring,” Grönwall stated in a news release.

The new tour date for Skid Row’s The Gang’s All Here Tour with Buckcherry at Westoba Place is March 17, 2024.

Tickets that have already been purchased will be honoured on the rescheduled date.

Refunds will be available for those who cannot attend the rescheduled shows, according to the news release.
