The City of Brandon’s services will be slightly modified in observance of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, with facilities like city hall, the A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex, the Park Complex and the Eastview Landfill being closed to the public on Monday.
However, facilities like the Community Sportsplex will host its regular hours for Monday (6:30 a.m.-11 p.m.), while Brandon Transit will be operating between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.
Brandon’s Youth Centre will also be open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Brandon Municipal Cemetery remains open to the public, although the cemetery office is closed.
All after-hours Public Works emergencies on Monday should be directed to the city’s Public Works after-hours hotline (204-729-2285).
Regular hours of operation will return on Tuesday.
