The Sheepdogs are set for an exciting Canadian tour that promises to bring their electrifying live show to communities often overlooked by touring musicians. The band is expected to entertain music lovers at the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium in Brandon on Jan. 23, 2024.

“We’re a band from Saskatoon, so we are no strangers to having to travel to bigger cities to see concerts. Because of this, it’s always been a mission for this band to not just play the big cities but smaller cities and towns across this nation as well,” lead singer Ewan Currie said. “From our experience, this is where some of the biggest music fans live. You shouldn’t be denied live music in your hometown just because you don’t live in a major city.”

He said that the tour will feature dates in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia, with an impressive six shows in rural Quebec. He added that it’s a tour that underscores The Sheepdogs’ dedication to their fanbase and ensures unforgettable nights of rock ’n’ roll magic.

As music enthusiasts eagerly await the upcoming Canadian tour, The Sheepdogs have unveiled a concert film that offers an exclusive look behind the scenes.

“The film captures two unforgettable sold-out nights at the Shore Club in Hubbards, Nova Scotia, a picturesque small town with a population of just 401,” said a statement from the band. “Directed by Mat Dunlap, the 35-minute documentary provides viewers with behind-the-scenes highlights, interviews, and stunningly captured concert footage starring the charismatic lineup of Ewan Currie, Shamus Currie, Ryan Gullen, Sam Corbett and Ricky Paquette. Fans can stream the film on the band’s website.”

Adding to the excitement, The Sheepdogs’ latest studio release, “Outta Sight,” has received international acclaim and earned a nomination for Rock Album of the Year at the 2023 JUNO Awards. The band has achieved a remarkable feat, maintaining a single in the Top 20 for an impressive 62 consecutive weeks. Hits like “Keep On Loving You,” “Rock and Roll (Ain’t No Simple Thing)” from the band’s 2021 EP “No Simple Thing,” and “Find The Truth” from their latest effort “Outta Sight” have resonated with fans around the world.

Over the past year, “The Sheepdogs have been a tour de force, performing in over 145 shows internationally, including multiple trips across North America, the UK, Europe and Australia. The live shows have become a global celebration of rock & roll and good times, featuring their signature ‘guitarmonies’ and unforgettable stage presence.”
