The Brandon Sun has learned of a major Brandon drug bust this week, involving large amounts of cocaine, oxycodone, and marijuana.
Two people, Erich Jordan Tait Wolf, 27, and Rylan Adam McKinnon, 22, appeared in court Thursday morning and were each released on a list of conditions to not have contact with numerous “associates” as well as consent to searches of their residences and phones by police.
Wolf is facing two counts of cocaine trafficking charges as well as a charge for trafficking oxycodone. He is also charged with possessing marijuana for the purpose of distribution and possessing cash as proceeds of crime in an amount more than $5,000. He is also facing a weapons charge.

McKinnon is facing three counts of drug trafficking charges as well as possessing cash as proceeds of crime in the amount of less than $5,000.
The charges against Wolf and McKinnon have not been proven in court and they are considered innocent until proven guilty.
Court documents indicate that the drugs involved are cocaine and marijuana. Police also seized bear mace, a knife, and cash considered to be from the proceeds of crime during the project investigation.
Brandon Police Service Sgt. Kirby Sararas said that no details of the investigation could be provided but that the BPS intends to provide information in a press release soon.
The Sun will provide more information as details become available.
