Woman assaulted
A 51-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday after allegedly assaulting a woman at an establishment on the 300 block of 18th Street North.
He was arrested and will appear in court on Feb. 12 on a charge of assault.
Cocaine trafficking
A 20-year-old man was arrested for allegedly trafficking cocaine after a police traffic stop Wednesday afternoon.
Around 2:25 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Stickney Avenue. The 20-year-old driver was wanted on outstanding charges of failing to comply with a release order. Upon arrest, he was found to be allegedly in possession of cocaine, a pellet pistol, and cash.
He is facing charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.
Mischief under $5,000
A 32-year-old woman is facing a mischief charge after allegedly smashing a window of a Regent Crescent home earlier this month.
On Dec. 1, police responded to a report of mischief to a property on the 100 block of Regent Crescent after a window of the home was smashed and the suspect had fled.
On Wednesday, the suspect returned to the home intoxicated and refused to leave.
Police located the woman at the home and arrested her. She is facing charges of mischief to property under $5,000 and two counts of breach of probation.
