BPS investigating robbery
Brandon police are investigating a robbery in the back alley between 15th and 16th streets that occurred around 3 p.m. on Friday Police say the victim was injured and was taken to hospital.
Photos posted on social media showed blood stains in the snow and emergency crews responding at the scene.
No arrests were made and officers continue to investigate the incident. Police were unable to confirm whether a weapon was used in the robbery.
Food and clothing theft
A 21-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stealing food and clothing from an 18th Street business on Wednesday.
On Thursday around 3:35 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 600 block of Kirkcaldy Drive as they observed the passenger and knew he was wanted for theft.
He will appear in court on March 21.
Grocery theft
A 29-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were arrested after allegedly stealing $200 worth of groceries from a Victoria Avenue business on Thursday.
Police arrested both the man and woman at the scene.
Party theft
Two women were arrested on Thursday for allegedly stealing cash and earbuds at a house party.
Around 12:30 a.m., police were called to a home on Second Street North. The homeowner had hosted a party and claimed that two women had stolen $280 cash and his earbuds before they left the house.
A 22-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman were located in the area, allegedly with the stolen items.
Both were arrested and released for court on March. 25.
Dauphin RCMP search for missing youth
Dauphin RCMP are looking for more information about a 14-year-old girl who was reported missing from Dauphin on Friday.
Hailey Chartrand was last seen on Jan. 23 leaving her home on Fifth Avenue North East in Dauphin.
She is described as five-foot-two, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red sweater, black sweatpants and a black backpack.
Police say she may be in the Dauphin area.
