A night of flamenco music is coming to the Lorne Watson Recital Hall on Wednesday. Calgary-based group Notas de 4 will headline the show, with local group Flamenco on the Prairies opening. The show starts at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are $20 for general admission or $15 for students. Tickets are available online at SilvaTemis.com/store.

Nostalgiacore, featuring works by BU’s fine arts faculty, is on exhibition at the Glen P. Sutherland Gallery of Art. The exhibition is open from Thursday to Saturday, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Roberto Limongi of BU’s Department of Psychology will talk about the writing brain and the free energy principal in this weekend’s Science Seminar Series event on Friday. The talk will take place at 2:30 p.m. in Room 4-47 of the John R. Brodie Science Centre. The talk will also be available online. Email TeepleH@BrandonU.ca for details.

The Bobcats volleyball teams are at home this weekend, with the Mount Royal University Cougars visiting the Healthy Living Centre. The women’s matches start at 6 p.m. on Friday, and 5 p.m., on Saturday; the men play at 8 p.m. on Friday, and 7 p.m. on Saturday.

The Evans Theatre is showing Who’s Yer Father this weekend as a small-town private investigator is joined by a scrappy convenience store owner to look into the sale of black-market lobster in Prince Edward Island. Show times are at 7:30 each evening, and tickets cost $6.

Former Humboldt Broncos coach Chris Beaudry will be the keynote speaker for the Mental Health on the Prairies Conference, coming up from April 24 to 26. Visit BrandonU.ca/MHP for more information.
